At 4:15 PM Bumble and I were putting on boots and snowsuits to go wait for Yaya. Her bus arrived before we were done, so I went down and came back to get Bumble. While she stood in the snow (she wouldn't play this time), I started to shovel the stairs and sidewalk. I know this is a futile proposition, but I figured I should make an effort in case anyone ventured out. While I was shoveling, our wonderful neighbor told me not to worry about it. He would use his snow blower to clear our sidewalk. My hero! By 5:30 PM the whole family was home. So, now we'll just enjoy the snow...
The fire hydrant at 4:30 doesn't look much different. |
